C's cousins are in town for a while, so were getting together when we can to have some good family fun. We went for some professional pictures and then back to Pop-Pop and Grandma's house for dinner. The boys played, had dinner, bathed together, and then we all read books. It was total pandemonium but fun all at the same time.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Happy Birthday (we won't say how many) Daddy! A group of us went to lunch and then decided it was about time that we threw our responsibilities out the window and left work early. It just so happened that a tropical storm was also blowing in, so we called it a storm party. C enjoyed playing with D (the amazing quarterback shown here). He liked the football and threw it very well for an 18 month old, also in his left hand (we're holding out hope that he's a south paw).

Labor Day

Over Labor Day weekend we took a road trip to see our friends Kat and Lee. We had a great time and are planning to take a long weekend to the lake sometime next year. C had so much fun picking pears and then he figured out how to use the spray nozzle on the hose. Kat was his favorite target.

Air Mail
Mail is always exciting, now mostly all we get is junk main since I've joined the ranks of people who have gone to paperless billing. Anyway...
The other night we came home to a really exciting package, it was gifts from the middle east from Grandpa D and Grammy D. Inside was a camel from Nazareth, a place that they have been on their travels. He loves that the camel has a bridle, but don't ask me how he knew to sit on it like he was going to ride it?? I have no clue??

Cousins!!!
Family is always fun, and this last trip wasn't an exception. C loved to play with his older cousin, we'll call him "D", the younger one "R" and C didn't not get along, but I think they are too close in age, as they grow up I'm sure they will play better.
Revision: C liked R just fine, but C was a bit agressive when he wanted R's firetruck and he pushed him right off. They are in competition for the same toys, which happen to belong to R. Anyway, it was C that didn't behave very well.
Cheyenne Frontier Days
Finally this city (okay suburban) girl went to a real rodeo. It was awesome. I think C liked it too, he even got to ride the ferris wheel.
